Stephenie Meyer is the author of the Twilight series of epic romance books. The story revolves around Isabella Swan, a human adolescent who relocates to Washington and finds her world flipped upside down when she becomes involved with a vampire named Edward Cullen. The majority of the series is recounted from Bella’s viewpoint, with Jacob Black’s POV only appearing in the conclusion of Eclipse and volume two of Breaking Dawn.
The series’ accompanying book, Midnight Sun, is written from Edward’s point of view. It is revealed that Edward Cullen is a vegetarian vampire. Bella flees to Phoenix, Arizona, where James, the vampire who is seeking her, tricks her into going to the ballet class where he is awaiting.
When Bella returns to Forks with Edward after being saved by Edward and his family and recovering from her injuries, she begins to doubt whether Edward is genuinely there because she no longer has faith in her own head as a result of her hallucinations.
